Mark
Mendenhall joined Elo in 2002 after 21 years at Tyco Electronics/Raychem. He most recently was Director of Business Management at Raychem Circuit Protection, which included global leadership for
product management, quality, supply chain, customer service and the
telecom business segment. Mendenhall has held roles which have included Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Corporate Strategy, Technology Development and Management. Mendenhall earned a degree in Physics of EE from the University of California at Berkeley where he was a Regents and Alumni scholar. |
| Luc Mergeay -
Vice President, Worldwide Sales |
Luc Mergeay joined Elo after fifteen years
in several international sales and business management positions at Raychem Corporation. Prior to joining Raychem, Mergeay's
positions included manager of product management, engineering manager, and
European sales director for the former Burndy Connectors (now called FCI) in Connecticut,
Mass. Mergeay earned a degree in electromechanical engineering from the
Higher Institute of Technology (HIT) in Mechelen, Belgium and a degree in
business management at Ghent University, Belgium. |
| Amelia Generalis - Global Director, Human Resources |
Amelia Generalis joined Elo in 2009 as the Global Director of Human Resources. Amelia comes to Elo with over 15 years in Human Resources and General Management. Over the past several years Amelia has been involved in restructuring, organizational turn-arounds and driving talent management for multi-national companies. Previously Amelia was HR Director for Electronic Arts (EA) and Shell Oil. With EA, she worked with multiple leadership teams to drive business operations and restructure global businesses through aggressive talent management and resource re-deployment. While at Shell Oil, she had a variety of HR experiences including living overseas. Amelia holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and an undergraduate degree from College of Charleston. |
| Steven Abramovich

Steven Abramovich joined Elo in 1994 and has been instrumental in the company's continued success. He has created a focused sales team to address the needs of OEM customers and established the company's first and successful channel sales program. As a member of the senior management team, Abramovich brings the voice of the customer to policy, programs and products that support sustained growth. Prior to joining Elo TouchSystems, Abramovich was Director of Sales with multimedia pioneer Visage, Inc. Abramovich earned a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany. |
| Hide Yamajo - Managing
Director, Touch Panel Systems Japan |
Before the March
2000 acquisition of Tokyo-based Touch Panel Systems Corporation, Hide Yamajo worked as the organization's
representative managing director of sales and marketing. Prior to joining
TPS, Yamajo spent twelve years with Raychem Corporation in both Japan and the United States and held various positions
in business development and engineering. Born in Japan, Yamajo earned simultaneous BS and MS degrees
in mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) in 1985. |

North - Director, Engineering and Technology |
Ken North joined Elo in 2001 providing over 11 years experience in engineering product design and development. Prior to Elo he was Product Development Manager for Gardco Lighting. He has held the position of Product Design Engineer for EM Designs and Project Engineering Manager for Prescolite. North earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University at Chico.
North is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering. |
| Brian O’Sullivan - Global Controller |
Brian O’Sullivan joined Elo TouchSystems as the Global Controller in 2009. Brian brings a wealth of global financial planning experience having held several key financial and leadership positions with Tyco Electronics in Europe. Prior to joining Tyco Electronics in 2001, Brian was a financial analyst at Schroders Investment Bank based in London. While there, he held several positions including management of sales and tax reporting. Prior to Schroders, Brian spent 4 years with Kerry Group Plc, in various roles, starting as a treasury accountant in Ireland, moving to assistant plant controller at DCA foods, Wisconsin, US, and finally plant controller for DCA foods in Chicago, U.S. Brian holds a degree in Business Studies from University of Limerick, and qualified with the Chartered institute of management accountants, and holds several certificates from St. Munchin’s College in English, Mathematics and German. |
| Chuck Desmond -
Global Director, Operations |
Chuck Desmond came to Elo TouchSystems as the Global Director of Operations in October 2009 after joining Tyco Electronics in April where he drove the strategic supply chain capability platforms as Director of Supply Chain in the Specialty Products Group. He now brings these platforms to Elo and is leading the implementation of the latest in network optimization, flexible execution and strategic supplier management across Elo’s global operations. Prior to joining Tyco Electronics, Chuck served as Vice President, National Consumer Products Practice for Hitachi Consulting. |
| Greg Swistak - Director,
Custom Solutions |
Greg
Swistak joined Elo in 2005 as the Director of Custom Solutions in
Rochester, New York. He has been active in the kiosk and point of sale
business for over 18 years as the past President of Factura, an award
winning kiosk manufacturer. One of the founding members of the Self
Service Association, Swistak took an active role on the executive and
membership committees and was employed by the Association as the Executive
Director and Vice President of Networld Alliance from 2003 to 2005. Swistak
has more than 25 years of experience in the design, manufacture and
management of technology. He studied engineering at both Rochester
Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester. |
| Keith Pradhan - Director, Core Systems |
Keith Pradhan joined Elo in 2008 with over twelve years experience in Strategy, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing and Competitive Benchmarking. Over the past several years Pradhan has created successful strategies for companies across multiple industries in the areas of market entry, operational improvement, acquisitions, sales effectiveness, new product launches and supply chain. Previously, Pradhan was a management consultant with AT Kearney and a Global Account Manager with Celestica. With AT Kearney, he worked with a large variety of clients to improve their competitive positions through a combination of growth, cost-cutting and asset effectiveness initiatives. At Celestica, he managed entire business portfolios across multiple geographies for customers such as Sun Microsystems and Cisco, which included new product launches, end customer fulfillment, manufacturing, design and sourcing. Pradhan holds an MBA from both Berkeley and Columbia, Management of Technology from Berkeley and both a Masters and Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Queen's University in Canada. |
| Sow Kam Ng - Consumer Market Leader |
Sow Kam Ng joined Elo in 2009 as the Consumer Market Leader. Ng brings a wealth of experience in both consumer and industrial markets having held a broad range of technical, financial, and leadership positions. Her previous role was as General Manager of the Asia business for Johns Manville based in Shanghai. While there, she doubled sales, developed new application segments and products and led the strategy development for the business in Asia. Prior to Johns Manville, Ng was a V.P. at Hilti in Shanghai and Hong Kong, a Managing Director at Lennox Global in Singapore, and a V.P. of Sales and Marketing at Thermo King in Hong Kong. In addition, Ng held positions in Treasury for Thermo King and Thomson Multimedia, was a Financial Analyst, and a Development Head. Early in her career, she held a variety of engineering positions. Ng holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, Computing from the JP School of Computing Studies and an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University. |
